In this Live, I´ll be talking about the difficulties we go through to get a job in cyber security and how to go through them. Cyber security has been a field that has been difficult to get into, does not matter if you have a degree or not.
This case is more common that I would like, but a lot of people still believe that a degree can get them a job ASAP, and that has not been the case for a while, specially in IT and even more in these uncertain times, so if you´re one of those you might want to watch the whole thing to let me change your mind.
I will guide you on what you need to do in order to land a Cyber security job in the next few months, depending on your own situation, but this knowledge I´m gonna share with you is completely proven to be effective by my students.
Just as a little preview, you will need a detailed plan of action, like any other IT field, and this is an often undervalued tool in IT. Most people just follow what everyone else is doing or are following the advice of people that have been stuck in the same position for years, but not you.
